I'm Gary Thornton, and I've been in the building trade since I was 16. Started as a labourer, got my bricklaying NVQ, worked my way up to site manager, then started Thornton Building Services in 2004. Twenty years later we're a team of 8, and we still do things the same way - price it fairly, start when we say we will, finish when we say we will, and leave the place cleaner than we found it. Most of our work is extensions and renovations around Leeds, Wakefield, and Harrogate. We've done everything from single-storey rear extensions to full house builds. Every project gets the same attention whether it's a £10k kitchen extension or a £250k new build.
